AIC appoints David Moss as new Technical Manager

The Agricultural Industries Confederation (AIC) – the leading UK trade association representing agricultural supply chain sectors including arable marketing, crop protection, agronomy, feed, fertiliser and seed – has announced the appointment of David Moss as its new Technical Manager.

In his new role, David will focus on the Feed Sector and the Feed Adviser Register, so will span both AIC and AIC Services. He has previously worked within the food industry, with specialism in technical management – skills that will be of significant benefit to his work supporting the agri-supply industry.

David’s new role will see him heavily involved with the continued development of the Feed Adviser Register, which recently launched its first module in the area of continual professional development. The next module – based upon “antimicrobial resistance” – is expected to launch in the next few months.

“I’m delighted to assume this new position for AIC, an organisation that continues to represent businesses in the UK agri-supply industry,” says David Moss. “As someone who has been closely involved with the Covid-19 area of the AIC website, I’m conscious that this is a very challenging time for our members. I will work closely with my colleagues to ensure operations continue as smoothly and productively as possible.”

“David will prove a huge asset in his new role,” John Kelley, Managing Director, AIC Services. “He has already demonstrated tremendous aptitude and value during a time of great disruption. His excellent work will be very welcome – and valuable – in his new role leading FAR and supporting the Feed Sector.”
