Former foodstuffs processors welcome European vote on food waste: 1 February 2017
The UK’s association for former foodstuffs processing has welcomed a proposal by MEPs to halve food waste by 2030. The proposal by the European Parliament’s Environment Committee will be voted on by the full Parliament in March. It was one of four proposals on boosting recycling, reducing landfill and curbing food waste which were debated by the Committee.
The Agricultural Industries Confederation (AIC) has announced the launch of its latest training module for the Feed Adviser Register (FAR). Module 3, Section 2 will highlight practical ways that feed advisers can help to reduce emissions on farms. It builds on information gained in FAR Module 3, Section 1.

Fertiliser industry rallies to support Brexit negotiations: 4 November 2016
