AIC Key Industry Meetings Week 5, June 2025

AIC’s team are constantly engaging with industry and stakeholders, the following list highlights some of this coming week’s key meetings.  

  • Meeting with the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) to discuss the National Action Plan (NAP) for the Sustainable Use of Pesticides, with a focus on the Pesticide Load Indicator (PLI)

  • Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) Productivity Working Group

  • Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) Minor Uses and Mutual Recognition Interdepartmental Panel (MMIP) meeting

  • All-Party Parliamentary Group on Science and Technology in Agriculture (APPGSTA): 30:50:50 Roundtable

  • Meeting with the Director General of Agri-Food Canada, Government of Canada, in London

  • Chemical Industries Association Roundtable

  • National Farmers Union Wales (NFUW) Liaison Meeting regarding fertilisers, contracts, Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM)

  • Panel discussion on Integrated Pest Management (IPM) at the CropLife UK Regulatory Conference in York

  • Groundswell – Regenerative Agriculture Festival: Vicky Robinson, Head of Sustainability at the Agricultural Industries Confederation (AIC), will take part in a panel discussion in the Workshop Tent from 10:00–10:55

  • European Alliance for Regenerative Agriculture (EARA): Agrifood Regeneration Forum

  • Feed Sustainability Committee

  • Soya Masterclass webinar

  • Agrii-hosted trials event at Stow Longa with policymakers and industry stakeholders

  • Frontier-hosted event at Huggate, Yorkshire with government officials and industry stakeholders

  • Meeting with the Nutricheck Steering Group at PGRO (Processors and Growers Research Organisation)
