Environmental Permits: Updated Odour Management Guidance from the Environment Agency

The Environment Agency has published an updated link to its external odour guidance: GOV.UK

This document replaces the previous H4 Horizontal Guidance, originally issued in 2012. It does not introduce any new requirements for operators but presents the existing information more clearly and accessibly.

The guidance provides advice for operators on managing odour when applying for, varying, or holding an environmental permit, particularly for activities that may result in odorous emissions.
