Appointment of Edward Barker as AIC Head of Policy and External Affairs
I am delighted to announce that Edward Barker has been appointed to the role of Head of Policy & External Affairs at AIC and will commence employment with AIC on Tuesday 1st September 2020.
Ed joins AIC from the National Pig Association bringing with him a wealth of experience and knowledge. With a Suffolk family farming background, his former roles have included working for the CLA as an Agricultural Adviser and as a Parliamentary Researcher in Westminster.
Ed will work closely with the AIC Policy team ensuring a robust and comprehensive delivery of policy in support of our Members.
I know that Ed is looking forward to meeting as many of you as he can during the course of his duties with AIC once he has completed his induction process and current Covid-19 curtailments have eased.
