The Feed Adviser Register (FAR) will be exhibiting at the British Pig and Poultry Fair.

FAR is a professional register of qualified advisers offering nutritional advice to livestock farmers. With strict entry criteria based upon training and experience Advisers must complete core training and competency tests to become full members of the Register. Membership is renewed annually requiring ongoing professional development.

Over 1,000 advisers across the UK provide guidance for dairy, beef, sheep, pigs and poultry farmers. FAR advisers, farmers, and nutritionists rely on regular nutritional analysis of feed materials, especially forage from grass, whole crop, or maize silage, which are among the most economical feeds for ruminants such as dairy and beef.

The British Pig and Poultry Fair is the leading event for the UK pig, poultry and egg sectors, the Fair is known as the number one meeting place for everyone in the industry. The Fair is a must attend event for all serious producers who want to plan ahead for their business.
