Sustainability in the Fertiliser Sector
AIC launched its Sustainability Action Plan, “Agri-supply: An Action Plan for Sustainable Efficiency,” in November 2024 in response to the changing pace, scale, and focus on sustainability in recent years.
The report provides a detailed overview of the wide range of agri-supply activities undertaken by AIC Members. In particular, it highlights a selection of Member actions that are particularly important to the sector.
The full-length Sustainability Action Plan introduces AIC’s sustainability framework and outlines the business benefits under each theme. It also details a series of key drivers—policy, supply chain, and financial—as well as recommended actions for Member businesses. In addition, it highlights the challenges and enablers that need to be addressed to support progress.
For ease of reference, an abridged version is also available. This version focuses specifically on the actions for Member businesses and the associated challenges and enablers that AIC is actively working to address.
