New FAR CPD Module: Driving Sustainability of Game Feed

We’re pleased to announce the launch of the new Feed Adviser Register (FAR) Continuing Professional Development (CPD) – Sustainability of Game Feed module, designed to support Members in understanding and applying sustainable practices in game feed production.

What the Module Covers

This 50-minute module covers key sustainability topics relevant to game feed, including:

  • Carbon Footprint & Global Feed LCA Institute (GFLI): An introduction to carbon footprinting and the role of the Global Feed LCA Institute (GFLI) in environmental benchmarking.

  • AIC Sustainable Feed Principles: How AIC’s Sustainable Feed Principles apply specifically to the game sector.

  • Raw Materials: Considerations around sourcing and sustainability of ingredients used in game feed.

  • Formulations: The impact of feed formulation on sustainability outcomes.

  • Feed Additives: The role of additives in improving feed efficiency and reducing environmental impact.

  • Feed Management: Best practice in managing feed use sustainably in game settings.

Assessment

At the end of the module, participants must complete a multiple-choice question assessment to demonstrate understanding and pass the course.

Prerequisites

Before taking this module, you must have successfully completed:

  • Game – Core (formerly Game Feed Module Level 1)

  • Managing Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and Biosecurity in the Game Sector
