A panel discussion chaired by Vicky Robinson, Head of Sustainability at AIC, explored how supply chains can help support regenerative agriculture and contribute to decarbonisation during this year's Groundswell event.

Bringing together representatives from Bunge UK, Billington Group, Nestlé UK and Ireland, and the UK Centre for Ecology and Hydrology, the session examined the opportunities and challenges associated with scaling regenerative practices across complex supply chains.

Discussion focused on the importance of robust data, transparency, farmer participation and market incentives in supporting the transition to more sustainable farming systems. Panellists also considered how supply chains can help create value for farmers while maintaining productivity and resilience.

The session reinforced the importance of collaboration across the supply chain and highlighted the need for science-based evidence and independent verification to underpin sustainability claims.

Coverage of the discussion appeared in AgriTrade News following the event.
