AIC Updates EUDR Frequently Asked Questions Resource
AIC has updated its Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) resource on the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) to reflect the latest guidance and developments affecting agri-supply businesses. The revised resource is now available on the AIC website.
The update incorporates information arising from the European Commission's May 2026 simplification package, including revised guidance and FAQs, changes to product scope, developments to the EUDR Information System, and further clarification on due diligence requirements.
The resource also provides updated information on the implementation timetable for EUDR, the position of European industry organisations, the application of the regulation in Northern Ireland, and recent guidance published by UK authorities.
Additional questions have been included covering issues of particular relevance to the feed supply chain, including the status of compound feed, palm kernel expeller (PKE), competent authorities, and practical steps businesses should consider as preparations continue ahead of implementation.
AIC will continue to monitor developments and work with industry partners, government and European stakeholders to ensure members are kept informed as further guidance becomes available.
Members can access the updated FAQ via the AIC website here.
