AIC shares downloadable flyer to raise awareness of upcoming urea fertiliser rule changes

A free flyer has been produced by the Agricultural Industries Confederation (AIC) to help inform the farming customers of its Members on upcoming rules changes for urea fertilisers from next year.

The downloadable A5 resource can be printed and displayed or offered to farmers and growers in England to raise awareness of the new requirements when using any urea-based fertilisers from 1 April 2024.

The rule changes mean that solid and liquid products with more than 1% urea applied any time from 1 April to 15 January each year must use effective protection to reduce ammonia emissions. There are some caveats for liquid urea fertilisers.
