AIC has been informed that European Union countries failed to reach a common position on proposed changes to the EU’s landmark deforestation rules during a meeting of the Committee of Permanent Representatives (COREPER) Committee on Wednesday.
Today, the Council of the European Union formally authorised the European Commission to open negotiations with the UK on an agreement for a common sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) area.
