On Thursday 12 March, the Agricultural Industries Confederation (AIC) hosted a Member webinar on the EU Reset and the availability of plant protection products (PPPs).

AIC Members will be aware of the growing tension following current events taking place in Iran and the wider Gulf region. AIC has been in contact with many Members to gather initial concerns, which are helping to inform our ongoing dialogue with the UK Government.

Guidance on the use of PPPs in mixed cropping situations has been amended by CRD following questions from AIC members.

The Government released its long‑awaited Land Use Framework (LUF), setting out its vision for long‑term land use in England. This is something AIC has consistently called for in recent years.

AIC is delighted to announce that the annual Seed Trade Dinner is heading to Edinburgh and will be held this year at The Balmoral Hotel on 3 December 2026.
