The Legal Affairs and Scientific Committee (LASC) is responsible for; assisting and influencing the formulation of legislation and Codes of Practice, evaluating the impact of new/revised legislation and providing guidance to members on implementation, contributing to feed and food safety matters, providing views on industry nutritional issue, contribute to environmental and sustainability issues, highlighting areas of pre-competitive research that potentially benefit the animal feed industry and for making recommendations and / or reporting on the above to the Feed Executive Committee.
