TASCC Short notice audits and return to on-site audits
2022-0062
From the 1st April all AIC assurance schemes (FEMAS, TASCC, FIAS, UFAS, ESTA) will revert to on-site audits.
Any requests for derogations from this approach will need to be submitted to the Certification Body along with justification for the derogation, decisions will be made on a case by case basis after consultation with AIC.
AIC are continually reviewing the latest Government advice on the COVID-19 pandemic and will be guided by the Government in this area. AIC will closely monitor the situation and keep Participants informed of any changes.
Following the implementation of TASCC 2021 it was agreed that one audit in a three year rotation would be carried out at short notice with 24 hours notice given by the auditor. Therefore when booking your audit you will be notified if it falls within your rotation year of being short notice.
If your TASCC audit is carried out in conjunction with another AIC assurance scheme audit, your TASCC audit will be conducted at short notice including the other AIC Scheme or you can opt out and only have your TASCC audit at short notice. Your non-TASCC audit will be scheduled separately however, the cost saving of a joint audit will be lost and the separate audit will be invoiced as standard fees.
