One Health Report 2019 Executive Summary

Digital Waste Tracking (DWT) is a new UK-wide system being introduced to improve the traceability of controlled waste by creating a more consistent digital record of waste movements, from production through to final recovery, treatment or disposal.

Under Packaging Extended Producer Responsibility (pEPR), large producers must submit their packaging data for the six-month reporting period from 1 January to 30 June 2026 by 1 October 2026.

Ed Barker, AIC Head of Policy, gave evidence to Holyrood's Rural Affairs Committee on the Rural Support Plan, alongside other rural and environmental organisations, as part of the Committee's inquiry that will conclude with a report expected in October.
