ISF to host Seed Talk webinar for International Day of Plant Health
To mark the International Day of Plant Health (IDPH), the International Seed Federation (ISF) will host a Seed Talk webinar on 12 May 2026, exploring how innovation can support healthier plants and more resilient agricultural systems.
The webinar, taking place at 12:00 BST, is aligned with this year’s IDPH theme, “Plant Biosecurity for Food Security”, and will focus on the role of innovation in strengthening plant health, biosecurity and global food systems.
The session will open with remarks from ISF President Arthur Santosh Attavar and ISF Vice‑President Lorena Basso, followed by a presentation from Steve Mutuvi, PhD, David Guerena and Lennart Woltering of the Alliance Bioversity-CIAT.
The discussion is expected to be of particular interest to those working in plant health, seed, biosecurity, innovation and food security.
