FEMAS Maize Alfatoxin Protocol Update April 2025
AIC, in conjunction with scheme owners EFISC-GTP, GMP+ International, OVOCOM and QS, has revised the Maize Aflatoxin Protocol as detailed below:
- USA has been increased from LOW to MEDIUM
The new risk rating is to be implemented from 29 April 2025.
As result of these changes the frequency of analysis of maize originating from:
- USA for Aflatoxin B1 must be increased as per requirements of the Protocol.
