AIC Services recruiting fertiliser sector Board Member

AIC Services is recruiting for a new Member to represent the fertiliser sector on its Board.

This pivitol role ensures that Fertiliser Industry Assurance Scheme (FIAS) and any other related services remain relevant and fit for purpose for the industry.

Ideally suited to an employee within an AIC Member business, this is a great opportunity to be exposed to the variety of services the organisation currently operates.

As well as requiring specific knowledge of the fertiliser sector, as a Board Member the role encompasses company governance and assisting with the vision, strategy and objectives of the company.

This is a key role and will involve discussing the current and any future services that AIC Services manages. The Board meets twice a year, typically in-person but can be virtual.

John Kelley is Chief Operating Officer, which includes the management of AIC Services, and is based at the AIC Head Office, Peterborough.

He was part of the original team that brought the associations together to form AIC in 2003.

Previous to this he has worked for major blue chip retailers, a produce supplier group and a consultancy. He also obtained an MBA through the Open Business School and a BSc (Hons) from Nottingham University.
