AIC Scotland Manifesto 2026
The Agricultural Industries Confederation (AIC) represents businesses across key sectors within the supply chains that feed the nation.
We represent the businesses that supply Scottish farmers, growers and the aquaculture sector with the animal feed, fertiliser, seed, crop protection products and advice services that are essential to producing food.
We also represent the companies that trade crops and agricultural commodities nationally and globally, underpinning three of Scotland’s major exports in whisky, salmon and Scotch beef.
AIC is a UK-wide voice for the businesses providing the products, services and trade assurance schemes that are vital for the secure supply of, and cast-iron confidence in, our country’s food, drink, and animal feed. We are also active members of European trade associations and closely follow European and international policy issues.
We are a recognised, knowledgeable and respected partner of the Scottish Government, Ministers, Members of the Scottish Parliament (MSPs) and Peers across all parties. We work collaboratively with stakeholders to help shape policy that supports a productive, sustainable, and competitive future for our food supply.
