AIC’s Rose Riby to Take Part in NFU Groundswell Session
On Wednesday 1 July, Rose Riby, Head of Combinable Crops and Seed at the Agricultural Industries Confederation (AIC), will take part in a panel discussion hosted by the National Farmers’ Union (NFU) at Groundswell, held on stand (C10 in the Pasture Field) from 11:00 – 12:00.
Rose will contribute to the NFU’s programme of activity, joining a sofa session titled ‘Why not pulses? Driving sustainable protein uptake’, which will explore the role of protein crops within rotations and across the wider supply chain.
The session will consider how growers can incorporate pulses into their farming systems, the role of research and development, and the actions needed across the supply chain to support their uptake.
Rose’s participation reflects AIC’s continued engagement with industry discussions around sustainable farming practices and the role of the agri-supply sector in supporting resilient and productive agricultural systems.
