AIC Key Industry Meetings Week 5 - January 2025

The AIC team continues to work closely with industry and stakeholders. Below is a summary of some key meetings and events scheduled for the coming week:

• AIC Combinable Crops Committee Meeting
• The Farmers Club Committee Meeting with Lecture from Secretary of State, Emma Reynolds MP
• Meeting with the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra) European Union Exit Teams 

• Danish Embassy Panel Event on Sustainable Agriculture

• Attending Suffolk Agricultural Association Conference

• Sustainable Foods International Conference and Exhibition 2026

  • AIC Chief Executive Robert Sheasby will chair the Main Plenary session: “Regenerative Agriculture – Pathways to Scale and Finance”

• Trade Assurance Scheme for Combinable Crops (TASCC) Working Group

• Visit to Members’ plant protection products (PPP) distribution store at Cranswick with Government officials and industry stakeholders to demonstrate how Members comply with legislation and best practice on the storage and distribution of professional PPPs

• AIC Technical Group Meeting with attendance from ADAS to provide an update on the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra) resistance management project

• AIC Sustainability Liaison Group

• AIC Future Forum Review Meeting
