AIC Key Industry Meetings Week 1 - February 2026

The AIC team continues to work closely with industry and stakeholders. Below is a summary of some key meetings and events scheduled for the coming week:

• Fertiliser Industry Assurance Scheme (FIAS) Steering Group Meeting

• Feed Assurance Accreditation (FAA) Group and Feed Assurance Register (FAR) will be exhibiting at Dairy-Tech

• Meeting with National Farmers’ Union (NFU) officeholders

• Meeting with the German Embassy attaché

• Government Consultation on Combinable Crop Contracts Deadline

• Meeting of the United Kingdom–European Union Domestic Advisory Group (UK–EU DAG) to discuss the legislative framework for Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) alignment

• UK Agri-Tech Centre reception in Parliament

• Future Forum at Royal Hospital School Careers Fair

• Presenting at Food and Drink Federation (FDF) networking breakfast on the Sustainable Commodities Scheme

• Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) / United Oilseeds Conference in York

• Visit to Members’ plant protection products (PPP) distribution depot at Codford with government officials and industry stakeholders to demonstrate how Members comply with legislation and best practice on the storage and distribution of professional PPPs

• Antibiotics Meeting, usually attended by the Game Farmers’ Association (GFA), Agricultural Industries Confederation (AIC), Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD), British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC), Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust (GWCT) and Responsible Use of Medicines in Agriculture (RUMA)
