AIC Key Industry Meetings Week 1 - December 2025

AIC’s team are constantly engaging with industry and stakeholders, the following list highlights some of this coming week’s key meetings.  

• AIC is hosting a fertiliser-focused luncheon for Lords and MPs in the House of Lords, focusing on the essentiality of nitrogen and phosphorus

• Meeting the new Agriculture Counsellor at the New Zealand High Commission to the United Kingdom

• European Association of Trade in Cereals, Feedstuffs, Oilseeds, Pulses and Agri-supply (COCERAL) Committee and Board Meetings

• Politico Agri-Food Sustainability Summit

• National Farmers’ Union (NFU) Brussels Team Meeting

• Meeting with the UK Permanent Mission in Brussels to discuss the Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) Agreement

• Euroseeds Annual Workshop

• AIC Joint Assurance Scheme Development

• Trade Assurance Scheme for Combinable Crops (TASCC) Transport Review Group Meeting

• The launch of the Environmental Improvement Plan (EIP) with SoS Reynolds, impact on how EIP will be implemented to farms and will seek to understand any issue for AIC Members

•  The Institute of Agriculture and Horticulture (TIAH) Consultation group, working to support plans for improved productivity through knowledge transfer

• Sustainable Foods Steering Group

• The Northern Ireland Grain Trade Association (NIGTA) Feed Executive Meeting

• UK Sustainable Commodities Initiative Meeting to launch AIC Sustainable Commodities Scheme (ASCS)
