AIC is pleased to announce that the charity partner for the upcoming  AIC Dinner and Conference, taking place on 10-11 November 2026 in Peterborough, will be Addington Fund.

Addington Fund is a farming charity supporting farmers and rural communities across England and Wales. Established in response to the 2001 Foot and Mouth Disease outbreak, it provides practical and compassionate support to those facing hardship or disruption within the farming sector.

The charity supports farming people in three key ways:

  1. Affordable housing for those who need to leave their farms due to ill health, retirement or business viability challenges.

  2. Emergency relief, offering grants and practical support to farmers facing crises such as extreme weather or animal disease.

  3. Support for new entrants, through its New Entrant Scheme. The charity is establishing a network of starter farms and currently provides small grants to those starting their farming careers.

Over the past 25 years, Addington Fund has supported more than 25,000 beneficiaries and delivered millions of pounds in grants, helping to strengthen resilience and wellbeing across farming communities.

With 2026 marking the charity’s 25th anniversary, AIC is proud to support Addington Fund through this year’s Dinner and Conference. This partnership will raise awareness of the charity’s work and support its ongoing impact across the sector.

Further details on how attendees can support the charity during the event will be shared in due course.
