Full Member

To be eligible for Full Membership applicants must be traders in, manufacturers, processors, distributors, brokers or agents of grain, pulse, protein & oilseed crops, forage additives, seeds, feedingstuffs, fertilisers, agricultural or horticultural chemicals or other goods or services used in agriculture. The applicant must have been trading for more than two years in the United Kingdom.

The annual subscription to AIC is a basic fee plus a levy(ies) assessed by the Member on the turnover/value of goods traded of their business in the eight trade sectors which the Association covers. 

Full Membership conveys entitlement to the complete range of AIC services. AIC hopes for active participation in its work both locally and nationally by all full Members. Only by involvement in its work can Members derive maximum benefit from their Association.

Subscriber Member

To satisfy the criteria for Subscriber Membership, applicants must be traders in, manufacturers, processors, distributors, brokers or agents of grain, pulse, protein & oilseed crops, forage additives, seeds, feedingstuffs, fertilisers, agricultural or horticultural chemicals or other goods or services used in agriculture. The applicant must have been trading for more than two years and have a turnover / value of goods traded in the categories above of less than £250,000 per annum.

Subscription rates are negotiated on an individual basis.

Subscriber Membership entitles the member to as much or as little information from AIC as is required. Subscriber Members have no voting rights and cannot sit on AIC Committees. However, they can participate in local activities, including Area meetings. Subscriber Members cannot display the AIC logo until they accede to Full Membership.

Associate Member

This category of membership is for companies or organisations operating on the fringe of the agricultural supply industry and which do not satisfy the criteria laid down for Full or Subscriber Membership. Associate Members do not qualify for the full range of AIC services.

Subscription rates are negotiated on an individual basis.

Personal Member

This category of membership is open to individuals who can demonstrate an involvement with the agricultural supply industry, but who are not connected with any existing or potential AIC Member company. Personal Members enjoy a limited information service.

Haulier Member

Companies involved in the road haulage of combinable crops, animal feed materials or as-grown seeds may apply for membership under this category, which conveys the following benefits:

  • General Member Briefings
  • Directors' Briefing Notes
  • Attendance at Area Meetings
  • Attendance at Annual Conference
  • Access to AIC publications at preferential rates

Haulier membership includes the TASCC registration fee.
