AIC is hosting a webinar on Thursday 16 April at 11:00 to provide Members with an update on the joint consultation launched by Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), the Scottish Government, the Welsh Government, and the Northern Ireland Executive (referred to collectively as “the four governments”) on the future regulatory framework for fertilising products in the UK. 

Led by AIC Head of Fertiliser Jo Gilbertson and Defra's Elizabeth Cooper, we will walk through the scope and structure of the proposals, what they could mean for existing, newer and novel products, and how Members can engage with the process.

The session will also explain how to feed views into AIC’s response ahead of the consultation closing on Wednesday 13 May 2026.

Members will also have the opportunity to ask questions in a live Q&A session, and a recording will be made available to Members after the session.
