    The Crop Protection Sector supports Members interests by lobbying and supplying information on technical, transport and storage issues as well as other initiatives that could affect the long term sustainability of farming and hence Members businesses.  Hazel Doonan  is Sector Head of Crop Protection.
  2. Animal Feed

    The aim of the Animal Feed sector is to improve the competitive position of AIC Member Companies within the agri supply industry. James McCulloch  Head of the Animal Feed Sector and Sue Whittington  Technical Manager for FAR (Feed Adviser Register) work with George Perrott  and  Judith Nelson  in the Animal Feed Sector.

    AIC’s Fertiliser Sector represents over 95% of the UK’s agricultural fertiliser supply industry, worth about £2bn. It seeks to support its members’ interests through providing a comprehensive lobbying, advice and statistics service, sharing technical, transport and storage information and promoting fertiliser security to help maintain a vibrant and growing sector.  Jo Gilbertson  is Head of Fertiliser Sector and works with  Jane Salter , Head of Environment Policy.     The work of the Arable Crop Marketing Sector is geared to representing the interests of Members with Defra and other government and non-government bodies and organisations.  Catherine Barrett   is Sector Head of Grain and Oilseed.

    The work of the Seed Sector is geared to representing the interests of Members with Defra and other government and non-government bodies and organisations.  Our aim is to improve the competitive position of AIC Member companies within the agri suppy industry.    Catherine Barrett  is Sector Head of Seed.

    AIC policy work falls into two main categories, environmental policy and external policy, covering a range of issues from future farming, innovation and productivity to agri-climate and food chain sustainability.  Jane Salter  Head of Policy, Environmental works with  Andrew Pearson  Policy Manager.
