Webinar: Defra Food Strategy Engagement - Thursday 2 October 2025

On Thursday, 2 October 2025, from 13:30 to 14:15, a free webinar will be held focusing on food strategy engagement across the UK agri-food sector.

The webinar is the first food strategy webinar organised by Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra), in collaboration with the Institute of Grocery Distribution (IGD), to support stakeholders in understanding current priorities and developments in national food strategy.

Tessa Jones, Agrifood Chain Director at Defra, will lead the session with a presentation on food strategy engagement, followed by a live Q&A to encourage questions and discussion.

This is an opportunity for producers, suppliers, and policy advisors to gain insight into Defra’s strategic direction and contribute to the conversation.

Attendance is free and open to all, regardless of location.
