The Feed Adviser Register (FAR), in partnership with the Forage Analysis Assurance (FAA) Group will be exhibiting at Dairy-Tech 2026 .

  • Stand: T110

  • Date: Wednesday, 4 February 2026

  • Venue: Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, CV8 2LZ

FAR, a service provided by the Agricultural Industries Confederation, and the FAA Group members provide professional nutritional advice and deliver assured analytical services, supporting modern, sustainable, commercial agriculture.

FAR is a professional register of qualified advisers offering nutritional advice to livestock farmers. With strict entry criteria based upon training and experience Advisers must complete core training and competency tests to become full members of the Register. Membership is renewed annually requiring ongoing professional development.

Over 1,000 advisers across the UK provide guidance for dairy, beef, sheep, pigs and poultry farmers. FAR advisers, farmers, and nutritionists rely on regular nutritional analysis of feed materials, especially forage from grass, whole crop, or maize silage, which are among the most economical feeds for ruminants such as dairy and beef.

FAA Group members participate in a regular silage proficiency testing program to ensure the quality and consistency of the analysis they report to their customers. Silages are naturally variable materials and can be challenging to analyse accurately. Using FAA Group laboratories gives both farmers and their feed advisers confidence in the results and feeding plans. While the FAA Group operates independently, its management is supported by the Agricultural Industries Confederation.

Dairy-Tech 2026 showcases cutting-edge technology, new products, and expert speakers. It’s a must-attend for all dairy professionals, regardless of herd size or system type, offering valuable industry insights and innovations for businesses of every cost base and system.
