Vicky Robinson Appointed Director of Oxford Farming Conference
The Oxford Farming Conference (OFC) has announced the appointment of Vicky Robinson, Head of Sustainability at the Agricultural Industries Confederation (AIC), as one of three new directors joining its board from January 2026. This move comes as the OFC prepares to celebrate its 90th anniversary at the 2026 conference, themed “Growing Resilience”, which will run from 8–9 January in Oxford.
VIcky has combined her passion for farming and the environment throughout her career, growing up on her family’s arable farm in Oxfordshire, where she remains a partner. During this time she worked for Natural England focusing on agri-environment schemes, both as an adviser and providing technical expertise to Defra during the development of Countryside Stewardship and the Environmental Land Management schemes. Following her Nuffield Farming Scholarship in 2019 entitled ‘Farmer to Farmer Knowledge Exchange: Relevance and challenges during change’, Vicky took on the position as Technical Director at LEAF before moving to her current role here at the AIC.
Joining Vicky on the OFC board are Dan Smith, a farm manager and consultant from Monmouthshire, and Corrina Urquhart, Chief Executive Officer of BASIS. All three will serve a voluntary three-year term, supporting OFC’s mission to “include, challenge and inspire” the agricultural sector.
The 2026 conference will reflect on nine decades of influence while looking ahead to building resilience across people, farm businesses, and the environment. Both in-person attendance and online streaming will be available. More details can be found on the OFC website.
