TSE Regulations - Guidance Note on Feed Controls - January 2018

The four UK feed trade associations, AIC, BAFSAM, BETA and UK Pet Food have formally raised urgent concerns with the Food Standards Agency (FSA) regarding significant and unannounced changes to the GB Feed Additive Register, which took effect on 1 April 2025.

The Minister has confirmed a review of fertiliser regulation will go ahead, following concerns raised by AIC over biosolids, slurries, digestates and biostimulants.

The announcement yesterday of the linking of the EU Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS) with that of the UK will inevitably have an impact on the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).
