Operational considerations that the introduction of the European Union's (EU) Entry / Exit System (EES) later this year will raise for UK based transport operators who conduct services to and from the EU.
New guidance is now available from the Food Standards Agency (FSA) and Food Standards Scotland (FSS) for businesses wishing to run feed additive trials using additives not currently authorised in Great Britain.
Defra have announced that the Government's £150 million Capital Grant closed for new applications at 1.30pm on 1 August due to all available funds being allocated
The Capital Grant scheme, has received a high volume of interest. To date, just under 75% of the available funding has been allocated, with over 6,700 applications submitted.
FSA have confirmed that urea and other additives are to be reinstated to the GB Feed Additives Register on 22nd July. FSA have also requested feedback from the industry on the use of sodium hydroxide and L-Cystine (3c391)
