AIC to Launch Monthly Agri-Supply Chain Podcast
The Agricultural Industries Confederation (AIC) is launching The AIC Podcast, a new monthly podcast designed to unpack how the agri-supply chain really works and provide clear, expert‑led guidance for businesses on the regulatory and commercial issues shaping the sector.
The podcast debuts on Monday 2 March with a two‑part special on the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), one of the most significant challenges currently facing UK agriculture. This month's podcast features James McCulloch, Head of the Feed Sector and Ed Barker, Head of Policy & External Affairs, who will provide their expert views in this area. Each month, the podcast will feature insights from AIC’s policy, sector heads and technical specialists, along with practical explanations and real‑world perspectives from across the industry.
Wendy Ford, AIC Communications Manager and one of the hosts, said: “As someone still relatively new to the agri‑food industry, it quickly became clear just how much expertise sits behind the scenes. This podcast is about opening that up, bringing people across the sector, from AIC Members and stakeholders to farmers, scheme Participants and the wider public, closer to the conversations that shape our industry. I'm genuinely excited to be learning alongside our audience and helping make this a space everyone can be part of."
John Kelley, Chief Operating Officer, Agricultural Industries Confederation (AIC) and Managing Director, AIC Services, added: “The challenges facing the agri‑food supply chain are becoming more complex, and the need for clear, trusted insight has never been greater. This podcast is an excellent way to make AIC’s expertise more accessible, supporting businesses as they navigate an increasingly demanding landscape.”
The AIC Podcast will be available on Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts, and agindustries.org.uk.
