AIC Representation on the Red Tractor Crops and Sugar Beet Board & Technical Advisory Committee

2022-0145

AIC are looking for an industry representative to join the Red Tractor Crops and Sugar Beet  Board and the Technical Advisory Committee.

The Crops and Sugar Beet Board advise on the development of the technical strategy for the sector and work to take this  forward with the engagement of all stakeholders, such that it contributes to the Red Tractor Vision and Purpose.

The Red Tractor Crops & Sugar Beet Board meets three times a year and it represents all stages in the supply chain from ‘Farm to Fork’.  Members of the committee representing Trade Associations should be actively involved in the management of a business supplying or handling Red Tractor assured product.  A wide understanding of the practicalities and challenges within the sector and farming/production systems or supply chain is needed.

The Red Tractor Technical Advisory Committee meets on an ad hoc basis when required to support the Board, and when it meets requires the input of technical industry knowledge.  If you are interested in representing the industry, please email [email protected] with a brief candidate statement outlining your current position/employment, career history and what you will bring to the position.  Knowledge of TASCC is advantageous but not essential.

This is a great opportunity for the right applicant to grow their knowledge and understanding of the wider supply chain.  If you have any questions, would like a copy of the Terms of Reference or would like an initial informal conversation, please contact [email protected]

Deadline for expressions of interest: 17:00 Monday 5th September 2022
