The event will also consier how the UK’s new international trading relationships have affected UK businesses and the economy and seek to establish what will UK businesses need from future trade deals negotiated by the UK.

Held from 08:15 to 20:30 on 20 June 2023 at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, the day will cover nine topics in panel and Q&A format:

  • Trade Barriers and Market Access
  • Regulatory Challenges and Solutions
  • Labour Market and Access to skills
  • Supply Chains and Logistics
  • Inward Investment and Innovation
  • Workers, Consumers and Climate
  • Internal markets (Nations and Regions)
  • How trade policy is done in the UK
  • The future of Trade

Panels will be interactive with audience participation encouraged, giving attendees the opportunity to shape the Conference and its outcomes.

The Conference runs as part of the ongoing UK Trade & Business Commission consultation, with all feedback being considered ahead of the Commission’s final report being put to Ministers and Parliamentarians.
