AIC Launches Animal Feed Sector Careers Directory

AIC has launched a new Careers Directory for the agri‑supply chain, now live on the Feed Sector webpages.

The directory brings together apprenticeship, graduate, placement, internship and early‑career opportunities from across the industry. It aims to promote the breadth of technical, commercial and operational roles available within the feed sector and wider agri‑supply chain.

This launch aligns with the conclusion of National Apprenticeship Week 2026, providing a timely opportunity to highlight the apprenticeship pathways that play a key role in building future capability across the feed industry.

Whilst skills shortages remain a challenge for the industry, a central, easy-to-access directory helps raise awareness of the roles Members are seeking to fill and demonstrates the range of pathways available. It also support AIC's wider work to position the agri‑supply chain as a strong and credible career destination.

AIC's Future Forum will be sharing the directory with schools, colleges, universities and career networks to support outreach and inspire the next generation.

What the Careers Directory Offers

The directory provides:

  • A central, public‑facing hub showcasing career pathways across the agri‑supply chain, including feed manufacturing, nutrition, assurance, logistics, laboratory roles, research, trading and regulatory work.

  • Direct links to employer opportunities, covering apprenticeships, graduate schemes, internships and placements.

  • Clear signposting for schools, colleges, universities and career‑changers, supporting more informed career decisions and raising visibility of the professional roles within the feed sector.
