AIC Key Industry Meetings Week 4 - February 2026

The Agricultural Industries Confederation (AIC) team continues to work closely with industry and stakeholders. Below is a summary of some key meetings and events scheduled for the coming week:

  • National Farmers' Union (NFU) Conference

  • Green ammonia fertiliser policy workshop, held as part of The Global Nitrogen Innovation Center for Clean Energy and the Environment (NICCEE) project

  • AIC Fertiliser Executive Meeting

  • AIC Fertiliser Distributor Meeting

  • “Addressing Water Pollution from Agriculture” – first meeting of Phase 2 of the policy development programme

  • AIC Policy Forum

  • Industry/Government meeting on Renewable Energy Directive (RED)

  • AIC Services Joint Scheme Development meeting

  • Red Tractor Technical Advisory Committee (TAC)

  • European Feed Manufacturers’ Federation (FEFAC) Task Force Mass Balance-Based Sourcing Systems

  • AIC Head of Crop Protection and Agronomy, Hazel Doonan is speaking at the International Biocontrol Manufacturers Association (IBMA) UK National Group Meeting on AIC and current lobbying activity

  • Fourth Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) Plant Protection Products (PPP) stakeholder meeting to discuss issues arising from the EU “Reset” and PPPs

  • AIC x National Farmers’ Union (NFU) bilateral

  • Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) Plant Health Advisory Forum
