AIC Key Industry Meetings Week 2 - December 2025

AIC’s team are constantly engaging with industry and stakeholders, the following list highlights some of this coming week’s key meetings.  

  • House of Commons Environmental Audit Committee inquiry on Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS)

  • Scottish Parliament Reception for 20 Years of the Scottish Rural Leadership Programme – an opportunity to reconnect and network with industry and parliamentary stakeholders

  • Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) reception – trade-focused

  • UK Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) Biopesticides meeting with the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra)

  • Feed Assurance Register (FAR) Working Group

  • BASIS Liaison meeting with CEO

  • Introductory call with LANTRA’s new CEO, Nick Juba

  • Wildlife & Countryside Link on Net Zero Action Plan

  • Farm Safety Partnership annual meeting

  • Meeting with the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) Plant Varieties and Seeds team

  • Meeting with the Country Land and Business Association (CLA), convening a roundtable on the future of the food system and supply chain

  • Regular meeting with Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) Environment Team

  • The Big Scottish Crop Conference (AHDB) at the James Hutton Institute, Invergowrie

  • Attending UK Dairy event in Westminster: Investing in Growth, Trade and Sustainability

  • Ed Barker speaking at the British Association of Feed Supplement and Additive Manufacturers (BAFSAM) annual meeting – agenda includes methane-suppressing feed technologies and considers how pragmatic and proactive regulation can help unlock their potential

  • European Former Foodstuffs Processors Association (EFFPA) 36th Board Meeting

  • Euroseeds meeting of the EU–UK Taskforce

  • Global Feed LCA Institute (GFLI) meeting to review developments that will benefit the feed industry and deliver carbon values for feed
