AIC’s team are constantly engaging with industry and stakeholders, the following list highlights some of this coming week’s key meetings.
- Meeting with representatives from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) to discuss the upcoming 14th World Trade Organization (WTO) Ministerial Conference
- Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) Precision Breeding Roundtable – Trade and Market Readiness Subgroup
- Meeting with Euroseeds to discuss the EU–UK Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) Agreement
- European Feed Manufacturers' Federation (FEFAC) Task Force kick-off meeting on Mass-Balance Sourcing Systems (EUDR compliance)
- Bilateral meeting with the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB)
- Meeting with the Malt Distillers’ Association of Scotland to review and discuss updates to the Feed Materials Assurance Scheme (FEMAS) standards
- Site visit to Pymoor organised by the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology
- Engagement with the Glyphosate Renewal Group
- Participation in the Pea Bruchid Risk Industry Forum
- Attendance at the Reform Party Conference in Birmingham
- Presentation on assurance schemes at the Central Region Trading Standards Officers Meeting
