AIC Industry Insights Workshop: Connecting T Levels to Agri-Supply Innovation
AIC is hosting a virtual Industry Insights Workshop on Tuesday, 4 November, from 09:30 to 11:00, as part of the Education and Training Foundation’s professional development series. The workshop is aimed at T Level staff delivering, or planning to deliver, the Agriculture, Environmental and Animal Care route.
The session will provide an overview of who AIC represents across the agricultural supply chain and how it supports a sustainable, competitive sector. Attendees will learn about AIC’s assurance schemes, technical guidance, policy engagement, and sustainability initiatives that underpin food security and environmental responsibility.
The workshop will also explore how AIC’s work aligns with the knowledge, skills, and behaviours developed through the T Level curriculum, offering valuable context for curriculum delivery, employer engagement, and student progression. A Q&A session will follow, giving participants the chance to engage directly with the hosts.
Supporting the next generation, this is an ideal opportunity to ensure technical education connects with the evolving needs of the agri-supply workforce.

What are T Levels?
T Levels are two-year technical qualifications in England, equivalent to three A Levels. They combine classroom learning with a 45-day industry placement, preparing students for skilled employment, apprenticeships, or further study. Developed with employers, they focus on practical skills and are offered across 21 subjects including the Agriculture, Environmental and Animal Care route, which prepares students for roles in farming, animal welfare, and environmental management. It supports agri-supply careers like feed advisors, sustainability managers, and compliance officers, aligning education with industry needs.
