AIC Dinner & Conference 2023: Minette Batters and George Eustice announced as guest speakers
Organisers of the AIC Dinner and Conference 2023 have announced the first two guest speakers at this year's event as Minette Batters and Rt Hon George Eustice MP.
The NFU President will join the 2023 Conference panel alongside a range of thought leaders from politics, business, academia and the trade to explore this year’s theme of “Working with Natural Capital within the Agri-Food Supply Chain”.
The Conference is taking place on 15 November at the Holiday Inn West, Peterborough, with a black tie Dinner held the evening before (14 November) to celebrate 20 years of AIC as the leading voice of the UK's agri-supply industry.
Mr Eustice MP, who is the former Secretary of State for the Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), will make a speech at the Dinner which formally marks the start of the AIC Conference.
Chairing the Conference this year will be BBC Farming Today's Charlotte Smith, a seasoned veteran in navigating the agri-food landscape.
AIC's Chief Operating Officer, John Kelley, said: "We are delighted to have both Minette Batters and George Eustice MP contributing to the conversation at this year's AIC Dinner and Conference, at what is a rapidly evolving time for UK agriculture.
"We look forward to welcoming guests and delegates to both the Dinner and Conference, where they can join in the discussion at this flagship event for the agri-food supply chain."
