The key objective of the policy sector is to improve the competitive position of AIC member companies by influencing the development of policy at the England, UK and European level to promote productive agriculture, whilst at the same time protecting the environment. Collaboration with industry stakeholders is a key focus of the work of the policy sector to communicate and develop best practice approaches, encourage innovation in research and development and build on models for knowledge exchange within the agricultural industry.
