Addressing individual business needs: supporting sustainable farming systems
The leaflet gives a brief summary of the feed adviser register (FAR) and focuses on the benefits of FAR, the pathways that advisers can join the register and the costs of FAR.
The disciplinary code covers the procedures that will be followed should the adviser not adhere to the essence of the professional code.
This document covers all areas of FAR in detail. The overview document also covers the areas of the 'core competencies' that advisers must achieve in the first two years of the register.
To achieve and maintain good standards of practice advisers are required to adopt and continue to uphold the FAR professional code.
