AIC offers a range of additional service to Members and Trade Assurance Participants in the following areas :
AIC has two helplines: AIC Legal Helpline and AIC Trade Assurance Scheme Helpline. They are a key benefit to AIC Members and Trade Assurance Participants and help the industry meet the increasing need for accurate legal and technical information.
Health and Safety issues regarding transport issues are discussed at the Transport Working Group.
AIC currently provides a variety of trading contracts for members.
The facilities of arbitration are available to Members for resolving disputes in the trade. There are two sets of Confederation arbitration rules in existence - the AIC Arbitration Rules (used in the main for disputes between two Members of the Confederation) and the NFU/NFUS/AIC Arbitration Rules (used in the main for disputes between Members of the NFUS on the one hand and Members of AIC on the other).
AIC runs a number of insurance schemes which are offered at a preferential rate for our Members from Towry Law Insurance Brokers Ltd.
AIC runs a number of training course in the areas of Trade Assurance. The main areas covered are the application of UFAS, TASCC, FEMAS and FIAS.
The register records those products which were subjected to successful independent analysis during 2006 and confirmation of their contribution to improved performance in the appropriate categories. |
