Lobbying is managed and carried out by the sector heads and relevant specialists both within and outside member organisations. Relevant Government departments and trade associations are contacted both in the UK and Europe regarding various trade issues including existing and forthcoming legislation.
Full representation is made by the AIC representatives regarding the specific trade issues and reported back to the relevant AIC committee and to organisations via AIC Member Briefings.
Other areas of activity which achieve effective lobbying include the release of AIC policy briefings, direct stakeholder meetings and press releases. |
