AIC Member Benefits

AIC offer a range of benefits to its Members

Delivering Information
Information is delivered in a number of ways to AIC Members. One of the main sources of information is the AIC Members Briefing Notes. These notes are published by each sector head on a regular basis and concern specific technical or commercial issues.

Providing Trade Assurance
AIC is the Scheme Manager of UFAS, TASCC, FEMAS and FIAS providing assurance in the feed, food and fertiliser supply chains.

Offering Technical Support
Technical support is offered in the areas of contacts and arbitration, employment law, insurance and health and safety. This is carried out via the circulation of Member Briefings as well as various meeting being organised.

Member helpline is also available which provides information and technical support in all these areas.

Sector Benefits
The AIC provides a united voice for all sectors which is represented at both UK and European Government.  Our work and commitment in the sectors provides key benefits to our Members.

Lobbying
Lobbying is managed and carried out by the sector head and relevant specialists both within and outside Member organisations. Relevant Government departments and trade associations are contacted both in the UK and Europe regarding various trade issues including existing and forthcoming legislation.

Full representation is made by the AIC representatives regarding the specific trade issues and reported back to the relevant AIC committee and to organisations via AIC Member Briefings.

Other areas of activity which achieve effective lobbying include the release of AIC policy briefings, direct stakeholder meetings and press releases.

Current projects
The individual Sectors have a number of ongoing projects which are managed on a continuous basis, there is a Current Projects section under each Sector.
