    The schemes were explained at a series of seminars across the UK during spring 2005
  • AIC devised a cost effective scheme to enable AIC members and non members to comply with changes to the The Carriage of Dangerous Goods and Use of Transportable Pressure Equipment Regulations.

 

  • Active participation in, and promotion of the Voluntary Initiative (V.I.) has saved the industry an estimated £625 million. This is the estimated cost of a pesticide tax over five years, had it been imposed. The V.I. has also demonstrated that voluntary measures are much more effective in achieving best practice compared to regulatory measures.
