The following sector achievements have been achieved over the last year

Coceral GTP - Involved in redrafting Coceral GTP code, including pursuit of EN45011

TASCC

• Relaunch of TASCC Codes of Practice
  The codes have been simplified to incorporate new legislation and industry requirements. The guidance notes also from part of the codes and are not separate documents. This should help participants apply the codes to their business.

UFAS

• Relaunch UFAS Codes of Practice
  The codes have been revised in light of the new Feed Hygiene Regulations and have been simplified to make them easier to apply to participants businesses. The merchants codes have been incorporated from two documents to one.

FEMAS

• Completion of IFIS
  The International Feed Ingredient Standard has been completed by the International Feed Safety Alliance (IFSA) which AIC form a part. These requirements have been incorporated into FEMAS so participants meet these new requirements.

FIAS

• Launch of FIAS
  FIAS was developed and launched to the industry in December 2005. AIC have managed the project with regional seminars being held through out the UK at the start of 2006. Participants are currently signing up to the scheme.
