The British Survey of Fertiliser Practice

The British Survey of Fertiliser Practice, funded jointly by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, the Scottish Executive Environment and Rural Affairs Department and AIC, is an independent annual report of fertiliser application rates providing data for farmers and environmentalists, regulators and the industry. It also provides information on lime use and organic manure application. The Survey shows generally good fertiliser practice in Britain with mineral fertilisers being used closely in line with accepted recommendations.

UK Fertiliser Deliveries

Statistics

A Summary of the latest Monthly fertiliser deliveries ('tonnes) by AIC members to the UK market will be published here as they become available.

These statistics are a summary of the detailed statistical returns that those fertiliser sector members who participate in the statistics service receive on a monthly basis.  These are made generally available 3 months after the internal statistics are produced for members, and fulfil the trade body's obligation under the Competition Act.
